Andrew Barrowman
Andrew Barrowman is a painter of landscapes and seascapes working in oils. His studio is based at Krowji Redruth, Cornwall and most of his subjects are usually discovered whilst walking his dog. He finds skies and winter light particularly fascinating and enjoys painting everyday, often overlooked places.
Andrew goes out sketching every day at various locations near his studio or around Loe Pool near Helston. These sketches using oil sticks are often developed into oil paintings which are concerned with the atmosphere and feeling of a place and time rather than details.
